ANGEF EVENTS
African History is synonymous with events, with meet-ups, with fireside conversations. ANGEF is re-anchoring that history of events to create the future of events in Africa. A future where events are pivotal moments of excellence, achievement, display of the essence that makes up the African arts and culture space. ANGEF runs the below events:
ANGEF Summit
An annual event held in a selected African city/town bringing together the multi-stakeholder community that makes up the ANGEF structure. The ANGEF summit brings together the Advisory Board, civil societies in Africa, thought leaders, Entrepreneurs, Think-tanks in Africa, ANGEF fellows for a three-day 360-experience for strategic outlooks and insights of the next 365 days, and a chip off the next 100 years in Africa.
ANGEF Meetings & Briefings
ANGEF meetings are topic-focused sessions to deliver impact on key topical issues and challenges. ANGEF meetings can happen concurrently, and always form the lead-ups to the ANGEF Summit. ANGEF also organizes Briefings from time to time on different thematic.
ANGEF Retreats
ANGEF makes a collective of peer groups of a cross-functional set-up and sends them away in the ‘wilderness’ to create alternatives to complex challenges. Our ANGEF Fellows are the key participants of the Retreats/Lighthouses.
